Jen Revels started playing broomball outdoor in the University of Minnesota intramural league, immediately fell in love with the sport, and sought out a way to play as much as possible. She joined two teams and still plays to this day in the infamous “Lord Fletcher’s” league (Yes, they still play with a volleyball “out” there) In 1998, she connected with some female indoor players and started playing with the MN Flames women’s contingent. In 2005 she began playing with Tracy’s Saloon and quickly moved into a management and recruiting role and is still playing with them to this day. Through the years, Jen has played with and managed several co-rec teams and in 2016 was inducted into the USA Broomball Hall of Fame. She is a founding member and player with both the MN Selects and the Minnesota Women’s Broomball Program (MWBP). She is a current member of the MWBP board of directors.
Her passion for playing broomball, competing, and recruiting is obvious. Her interest in the broader broomball perspective and growth locally, state and worldwide is the reason she has taken a leadership role as a board member for the USBA. We are happy to have her as a part of this effort. She is as humble as they come, would have a letter jacket with more bars then could fit and if asked, will listen and talk your ear off about anything broomball.
