2023 North American/Midwest Broomball Results

The 2023 North American/Midwest Broomball tournament took place Jan 6-7 at Augsburg Ice Arena. Kelly Lake captured their 4th consecutive Men’s North American Championship with a 3-0 win over Legion in the championship. Kelly Lake outscored their opponents 21-1 over six games. Kelly Lake/Wolves finished 1st/2nd in Pool A, MetX/Watkins Legion out of Pool B, Legion/Blizzard out of Pool C, and Chiefs/C&L out of Pool D. In the quarterfinals, Kelly Lake beat the Blizzard, Chiefs beat Watkins Legion, Legion beat C&L, and MetX beat the Wolves. In the semifinals Kelly Lake beat the Chiefs 2-0 and Legion beat MetX 1-0.

Red Rock won the Midwestern Championship with a 3-2 win over Ice Mafia in the final. Ice Mafia beat the Flying Beavers 2-1 and Red Rock beat the Flames 3-2 in the semifinal games.

Six teams entered the Women’s Divison. Arctic Blast went undefeated for the tournament and captured the North American Championship over L’Equipe 2-0. TSS took home the Midwestern Championship beating Storm 3-0.
